New Classes for Summer 2025
Mountain Prairie School will be holding a middle school summer homesteading course in June and July of 2025, with possible extension into August and beyond for homeschooling families. This course is for families interested in having their children experience farm work, farm projects, gardening, harvesting, skills from frontier/homesteading times, canning, bread making, etc. Academic work is included, keeping academic skills sharp during the summer months. Science, literature, and composition/publishing will be part of your child's experience. Projects will include math applications. *** AGE GROUP: 6th-8th grade (or children who can handle academic work and behavioral requirements of these grades) * SCHEDULE: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am-1pm.
